Asha Ashanti Bromfield is a singer, actress writer screenwriter, and producer from Afro-Jamaican heritage. She is known for her role as Melody Jones drummer of Josie and the Pussycats in the CW's Riverdale. Asha appears on Netflix's hit show Locke and Key as Zadie. Asha is also the author of HURRICANE SUMMERTIME and SONGS IF IRIE. Asha Brmfield takes readers inside Jamaica's soul and to the heart, as she explores the struggles of a girl to discover her connection with her parents, and be herself in the midst of the hurricane.
